Cape Tree Services is owned by Mr Jean Crous who has 42 Years experience in Arboriculture his Wife Mrs Hildegard Crous is a Horticulturist who completed her studies at Kirstenbosch. Thus we have a wide range of experience at your disposal.
We have a regular and loyal client base such as Groot Constantia under our portfolio. For your peace of mind we are fully insured through Santam for all risk and public liability. A letter of good standing can be obtained from our broker.
Company description
Arborist owned, providing tree trimming, shaping, tree surgery, felling, high risk tree management, Tree Maintenance, stump grinding, chipper hire. Horticulturist on our team. We cover a 250km radius from Barrydale as far as Hermanus, Bredasdorp, Stilbaai, Mosselbay, George, Wilderness, Oudtshoorn, De Rust, Touwsrivier, Ceres, Worcester, Rawsonville, Villiersdorp. The company was established in 1967 and is headed by Jean Crous who has been operating as an arboriculturist for 42 years. First based in Cape Town, the move to the country in year 2000 enabled him to extend his experience and expertise further afield. His well trained team is led by his assistant, Melvin, who has been with Cape Tree Services for 22 years. Jean has always opted to save a tree rather than fell it. Advice is freely given Visits and collaboration with botanic gardens, Kew Royal Botanic Garden for instance, has confirmed that techniques used by Cape Tree Services are on par with international standards.
