Cape Medical Response (CMR) is a private, highly professional emergency medical response service that provides dedicated advanced-life-support paramedic services to the Far South community of Cape Town's South Peninsula.
Company description
CMR paramedics are on duty 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, and residents and businesses become members of CMR by paying a low monthly membership fee.
In the first eight years of operation, CMR has treated thousands of emergency medical cases (around 2000 per year), with an enviable average response time of under ten minutes!
Cape Medical Response was formed in Fish Hoek in April 2001 to service an urgent need for emergency paramedic services in the "Far South". Since then, the Company has grown steadily to become a strong and essential part of the Far South community.
