Cape Explorers Lodge, Knysna

There is no laundry facility, but we will take your laundry into town to be done and fetch it again. We will also post letters and do minor shopping if required. There is a washing line available for wet towels and costumes. We do not allow smoking inside the building, but guests are welcome to smoke on the deck and in the garden. Cape Explorers Lodge is situated on a hillside behind the Knysna golf course, offering views across a forested valley towards The Heads, Leisure Island and the lagoon. Due to being on a hillside, we have steps going up to the house and we are not accessible by wheelchairs. We are close to the Knysna and Pezula golf courses and the Knysna Private Hospital. Knysna is ideally situated to be used as a central base for exploring the Garden Route. We have very good local knowledge and can help you plan your activities and excursions into the many interesting places within and surrounding Knysna and also offer helpful advice on restaurants and future travel.
