Bosch Car Service - Hillfox Autotronic, Roodepoort

I took my Daihatsu Charade in to Bosch for an oil change on 14 March 2016 and was advised during this time that the back brakes needed new linings and the drums skimming. When I got the vehicle back the brakes were shuddering. I called the workshop manager and he advised that I wait for them to bed in for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I took the vehicle to the Daihatsu agents in Centurion and they advised that the linings were replaced but the drums never skimmed, and that the linings were under sized. It cost me another R3000 to repair! I am of the opinion that Bosch Hillfox do not do reliable work and cannot be trusted to deliver a vehicle back to the owner properly repaired!

I am seriously disappointed in the service and supposed expertise that was given here. My car was taken to Bosch Autotronic Hillfox on wednesday morning 17 December 2014 for a full diagnostic. I informed them from the start that the problem was the brakes. I asked to diagnose and check all problems, service the car and quote me for repairs. I received a quote for R11890-10. I was told the car will be fixed and ready on the 19th of december as they are closing. When I went there on friday I waited for the car and at 16h40 was informed that the car can not be fixed as it is the ABS pump that is broken and it has not been serviced neither as I requested. How did you check, diagnose and quote me on things that was fine. I am unable to go on holiday as my car is still at Bosch Hillfox until the 5th of January 2015. I have paid for my holiday and now what? By the way I already paid them and had to leave without my car. This is the worst technician/ mechanic error I have ever seen. I you can not find the actual problem in 3 days, you should find another job. I am going to see my lawyer to sort this matter out. Unbelievable !
