Description
One of its focuses is the Staff Catering market. Staff Catering refers to the provision of catering and allied services on the behalf of employers who wishes their employees to have access to a food and beverage facility based on site. This is generally subsidised through the purchase of catering equipment, furnishings and the covering of utilities such as electricity, water and floor space.
Some employers’ subsidies the selling prices as well through paying either the whole, or a portion of the caterer’s salary costs.
Company description
Whilst the barriers of entry into catering are low, the contract catering market is deceptively complex, and smaller black owned companies have not lasted due to them not meeting the requirements of this market to sustain the business.
Bodubelo proposes to offer the market a business model that supports the transfer of skills to qualified black individuals and supports them through a franchise agreement thus guaranteeing standards and quality of food and service.
