We have a beautifully spacious birthing unit available for those specifically wanting a natural birth. It looks like a hotel suite with fresh white cotton sheets, lots of pillows, comfortable chairs, a huge oval bath for pain relief and birthing in.

Big windows for lots of fresh air and light, facing out upon a small garden. This is an ideal venue for those wanting a natural birth or even a homebirth but dont have the facility or space at home or are perhaps a little nervous to give birth at home and prefer the security of a hospital nearby. This unit is owned by Femina Clinic so the facility fee is still payable to Femina Clinic. The birth unit is exclusively used by midwives and couple wanting natural birth. If the birth should become high risk at any stage a tranfer into the main labour ward would be necessary.
