Full board and lodging is available for 300 residents in single, double and En Suite rooms. . Ablution blocks for men and women are positioned near bedrooms. There is a fully furnished lounge, laundry room, and public telephone on each floor. All lounges are equipped with television sets.
All Bill Buchanan Association for the Aged developments are sold on a Life Rights basis.
The rental for these flats is based on the income of the resident with minimum and maximum limits. Each complex is under the control of a supervisor who is responsible for the administration and well being of the residents. All complexes are visited on a regular basis by a qualified nursing sister assisted by three nurse aids. All the residents in these complexes receive priority for admission to either Bill Buchanan house or our frail care home, Emmerson House, should the need arise.
Among the many social activities in which residents may participate are: Bowls, snooker, table tennis, darts, handcrafts, yoga, ballroom dancing, musical instruments, cards and bingo evenings, videos, socials and fund raising events, as well as musical exercises.
