This counselling ministry endeavours to apply a caring approach combined with a clear evangelical presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those afflicted by the dependence of chemical substances

Objectives

To provide rehabilitation tailored to specific needs, which include Christian and moral guidance.
To provide guidance to those people who suffer through being closely related to the afflicted.
To increase public understanding of alcoholism and drug dependence, its nature and treatment.
To promote the tenants that the alcoholic and drug dependant can and should be helped and that alcoholism and drug dependence is a public health and social problem, therefore a social responsibility
To obtain the co-operation, assistance and recognition of churches and the medical profession in the treatment and rehabilitation of the afflicted and his/her integration into the community.
A treatment programme is offered to those afflicted by the ravages of alcoholism and drug dependence. This programme is comprised of education and awareness lectures, devotions, recovery therapy, relaxation exercises and recreation therapy. The centre provides a 24 hour service, with the services of a multi-disciplinary team. Inclusive in the treatment are regular visits by a doctor. It is our belief that man is three-dimensional and so there needs to be healing and growth physically, mentally and spiritually.
