Description
In the heart of the scenic Eastern Highlands, this comfortable country house is a home away from home stop over decorated with antiques and collectibles. Relax under the lovely old oak tree, or take a stroll to Ficksburgs historic sandstone buildings. Visit bushman paintings or be at one with nature on horseback. Enjoy the park-like gardens and quiet country atmosphere.
Company description
Very comfortable with 11 en-suite rooms each tastefully and individually decorated with antiques and collectibles. All bedrooms have television, telephone, heating, radio and tea/coffee facilities. Delicious country cuisine is served (by arrangement) by candlelight in this charming Victorian sandstone house that has a fully licensed pub and well stocked wine cellar. The pub has an open fireplace with roaring fires in the winter to keep out the chill. A Continental or full English breakfast is served.
Foreign language description
Katse Dam, Mahlasela ski slopes, cherry blossoms and fruit in season, asparagus farm and fresh asparagus in season and Ficksburg surrounds.
