Company description
BA Withaar Builders is a family construction company started by Jan Withaar in the early 1950’s.
Management was taken over by Bart Withaar in 1976, in 2010 Gerrit Withaar joined the company as Contract Manager.
Withaar Builders have been a member of the Master Builders Association since 1956.
BA Withaar Builders are involved in all types of contracts, from the bigger jobs to alterations and additions, mainly to previous clients.
BA Withaar Builder only employ permanent staff, we do not employ casual workers. The only sub-contractors we employ are for specialised contractors such as electrical, plumbing and waterproofing.
JA van Bylevelt Plumber has been associated with us for more than 15 years.
Our staff compliment consists of the following:
- Bart Withaar – Qualified carpenter and Building Contractor Diploma
- Gerrit Withaar – BSC Builder Management, Hon Construction Management
- Site foreman – Ephraim Nkabinde employed for 26 years
- Site foreman – Adam Tlou employed for 12 years
- Carpenters 3x
- Bricklayers 6x
- Plasterer 5x
- Painters 5x
- Tillers 3x
- General labourers 18x.
All construction equipment is wholly owned.
