Description
And Banana is a handmade jewellery company based in Houtbay - Cape Town, inspired by contemporary African bead work, organic texture, global fashion trends, and Joie de vivre! The store is on the Main road leading to Chapman's Peak drive in Houtbay Capetown and the factory outlet is next to the famous Bay Harbour Market in Houtbay.
Company description
The brand and the store are well established since 1998 at the start of the scenic Chapman's Peak drive.
The shop stocks an original and creative selection of jewellery, fashion accessories and gifts, are all made on the premises using mainly organic materials such as wood, horn, shells, gem stones, raffia, and leather.
Ethno Bongo is the name of our Decor range using local reclaimed wood, oak wine barrels, palm fronds, driftwood, blue gum, and more. And again all items made in our workshop in Hout Bay.
The creativity is endless, funky birds, penquins, ostriches made from Palm leaves, calabashes and feathers. Mirrors, candle holders, frames, wine bottle racks, stools and tables, clocks and ceramic sculptures all inspired by the sea side.
