Alpha Step is a child centered educare situated in Walmer where diversity is embraced and every child enjoys learning and play in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to meet all the pre-school child’s developmental needs; physical, social, emotional and cognitive. (Cognitive skills are thinking skills – mental tools that enable us to learn and operate effectively, with them we are able to learn and do most of what life demands of us. English Medium, Educational programme for 2-6 year olds, Grade 0000/Grade000/Grade00/Grade R (CAPS compliant curriculum), Experienced and qualified teachers, All meals and snacks provided, Media Centre (Computer based training for pre-schoolers + available to aftercare children for project and research work), Various private extra mural activities, After school care offered up to Grade 3 (includes lunch and supervised homework), Parents arrange transport.

Half Day children to be collected between 12h45 and 13h00.
The actual school days starts promptly at 08h15.
Please make sure your children are at school on time to start at 08h15.

AFTER CARE - Available for all children not enrolled at the school from age 2 years to Grade 3.
We offer supervised homework for school going schildren. Lunch and afternoon snacks provided.
The media centre is available to after care children for homework (research/projects)
12h30 to 17h30

HOLIDAY CARE - Open to all during the school holidays. The cost for holiday care is R50.00 per day.
