Description
The Academy for Continuous Professional Development is a privately owned training provider who facilitates and delivers education and training for people of South Africa and abroad. The ACPD specialise in Skills Development through high impact Short Learning Programmes/Workshops which are driven in collaboration with subject experts and/or industry. The ACPD’s mission is to establish a one-stop service, empowering learners and support industry needs. Field of offering is within food and meats safety, environmental health, health & safety, soft skills and occupationally directed education training and development practices. Services of the ACPD include organizational wellness (Cobus Neethling instruments), assistance with Seta registration, quality management system and events planning. The ACPD is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the ETDPSeta as training provider.

The training the ACPD provide falls within but is not limited to public health. This include fields such as Food & meat safety and security, occupational health & safety, community development, environmental pollution control and management (air, water and waste) as well as communicable disease prevention and control, disease outbreak investigation, disaster management, HIV/AIDS, information technology and soft skills that include workplace ethics, employee accountability, customer care, anger and conflict management, administrative skills, supervision, writing skills and many more. The ACPD is an accredited training provider with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as well as the ETDPSeta.
