The Worst Service Ever !!!!! its the 3 February 2016 and my son is still out of school waiting for the department to get him into one. Still waiting for them to call and I cannot get through to any of their numbers. PATHETIC !!!!

I am a mother trying to contact the department of education to find out what is happening with my son's grade 1 application. No surprise though that there is no answer. the school says his application has been handed to the department for palcement and that the department will contact me with the details. Someone please tell me what to do because the school can't give me answers and the department does not answer calls! How is one meant to determine if their child has been accepted to a school if there is no-one to communicate with?

I agree with everything I have read so far, it is impossible to get through to the GED. I am writing because I have no clue what else to do. My son was in a school that was caning him. I thought this had been stopped and was illegal?? I have tried numerous times to get through to report this as I have pulled him out of that school, but.....

I don't think this needs to be rated as I have the same problem with the department of education to get through and if I do, i am referred to another number with the same results and even though there is reviews, I don't think they bother to look at it.

We cannot complain about bad service at the department... because their is no service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shocking , you do not answer your phones and when someone eventually answers i cant get rhough to answer my question

I tried calling the department of education yesterday and the phones either just ring and no one picks up, or someone picks up just saying "hello"... you then have to ask if it's the dept of education. I was given another number to call, and I wasn't surprised that it didn't work!! It's shocking that info that should be so easy to obtain is almost impossible to get!! Please people, do something about the customer service, and put someone capable in charge of the switchboard to ensure that you're directed correctly.

Iam a 28yr old mum of 2.i need 1 subject to obtain my matric certificate.i wrote in 2008,results 32percent and 83percent.someone made a mistake by typing in the incorrect results 32percent and 33percent and therefore iam still without my certificate.i have been several times to have them change it and still nothing is done.i have called hundreds of times and keep getting different stories.how am i supposed to get a good job without my certificate and when is someone actualy going to be able to help me.all it is,is to change the incorrect percentage to the correct 1.what kind of system is the education department running,you people mess up so many of our lives.

Apaulling, you do not answer your phones and when someone eventually answers, you get refered to someone else,,, is this where the future of our children in going- to nothingness!!!!
