Think Local is an independent publisher and media house that operates in the following regions: Kouga, Port Elizabeth, Pietermaritzburg, Umhlanga, Garden Route, George, Grahamstown, Port Alfred, Welkom and Eastern Free State. We started in Jeffreys Bay, but our Head Office is now in Pietermaritzburg. Think Local publishes various print titles in the above areas, including fully comprehensive directories. Over the past 9 years we have acquired over 11 000 advertisers, and often distribute over 180 000 copies of various titles in a month. Our active database is 80 000 businesses, and we hold data for the whole of South Africa at over 550 000 records. Our active database is by far the most comprehensive and accurate in South Africa.

We run a paperless business, with proprietary CRM software and synchronised custom-built website, which we expect will dominate in South Africa as the first and best fully fledged community portal, due for launch in the Eastern Cape and Garden Route at the Winter Fest , followed by the final roll out for SA in the next 12-18 months. We are currently in an exciting phase in our business as we will be launching our local directory website which will include valuable functionality for businesses to not only have their individual website ABSOLUTELY FREE but also give them tools to connect and communicate directly with potential clients. Of course, we do have a premium option beyond the free website, with ground-breaking tools that add value beyond just the publishing of information.
