This stunning structure uses the very latest European technology to ensure quality, longevity, versatility and functionality that must surely be unmatched in its price-class. High quality Aluminium profiles, Qualicoat® certified powder-coating, and a Class 6 wind resistance rating in terms of EU-standards provides peace of mind, while the sinuous straight lines and uncomplicated design provide an outstanding aesthetic character. Able to face winds of up to 100km/ph, the Pergolam, despite it’s good looks, is no slouch, and therefore perfect for places like Cape Town, and other coastal areas, as an ideal solution. The louver blades do not only rotate to 90°, but adds another 45° to that, rotating up to 135°, meaning that you can set it to exactly the right angle – either to let sunlight in, or shade your outdoor space depending on the weather. The blades are fully motorised and remote controlled. The custom-designed gasket system on the louvers and the surround gutter keeps the rain at bay, and your outdoor space dry. The sides of the Pergolam Bioclimatic Pergola can be enclosed with a number of options such as stacking glass sliding doors, Pivot and stacking glass doors, motorized screens or guillotine windows, or a combination of these features. The Pergolam can also provide the ideal evening ambiance with dimmable LED strip-lights in the blades and RGB LED strips around the inner perimeter, which can be set on a single colour or a constantly changing colour setting, via remote control. Other options include snazzy Bluetooth speakers and infra-red outdoor heaters for those chilly winter nights, ensuring your comfort and enjoyment, irrespective of the weather outside. The Pergolam is available in different configurations: - Freestanding Wall mounted with frontal pillars Wall to wall Cantilever
This is an exceptionally attractive pergola structure with a fully retractable, motorized, bowed canvass roof. The surround perimeter gutter ensures that rainwater is neatly deposited into the pillars, which also serves and downpipes, with the aesthetic advantage of avoiding ugly, separate downpipes. The main advantage is the fact that the Pergostar Horizontal is a flat structure, meaning there is no inclination, and can therefore be used in scenarios where height is limited. This avoids the slack canvas configuration of other flat/horizontal structures that has slack canvasses when retracted (which slows down water-flow when it rains, and can flap around in heavy winds). Dimmable LED lights in the canvass support tubes, as well as interior and exterior perimeter lighting is available, and the outer perimeter can be enclosed with glass doors or drop-screens to serve as secure wind barriers. In addition, The Pergostar Horizontal can be fitted with all the bells and whistles available from the complete IASO offering such as mounted infra-red outdoor heaters, Bluetooth speaker system, and hook-up to your Home Automation System.
Pergoflex is a more economical option from IASO, Spain, which aims to satisfy a more price sensitive market sector, without any major compromise in quality. It just does not have all the features of the Pergostar range. It is therefore not possible to fit the special bits such as LED lights in the roof, or the Bluetooth sound system. Pergoflex is a flat structure of which the canvas hangs in loops, even when fully extended, so the water is drained to the sides. It is available in a motorized, as well as a manual version, and is operated by means of a rope and pulley system, rather than the gear-and-belt system of Pergostar. Pergoflex is, despite it’s very reasonable price, an attractive pergola, with a solid frame and high quality canvass, withstanding winds of up to 70 km/pH. It also deals quite well with rain, but not as well as IASO’s other, more technologically advanced pergolas, as a combination of wind and rain tends to compromise the weathertightness of the space. There are however some ways in which this can be improved, such as retro-fitting gutter and splash plates to collect and disperse rainwater.
Siwah is the top of the range SAHARA bioclimatic structure. It is available in a freestanding module, or can be mounted against a wall. Sinuous, minimalist lines and the futuristic design of the louver blades makes this pergola especially attractive in almost any setting. Siwah has the capacity to regulate the microclimate of the enclosed space underneath, providing it with natural ventilation, thanks to a completely silent motorized system that rotates the louvers by means of an exclusive rotation system. The bioclimatic Siwah pergola offers its user a pleasant environment 365 days a year, with the minimum consumption of energy. The blades are able to rotate up to 135◦. By rotating the blades slightly, it is possible to cut out the sun completely, yet allowing hot, rising air to escape through the slats, thus cooling the area underneath. Even in heavy rain, the unique water-management system, and perimeter sealing system work effectively to prevent water from coming through, keeping the area dry, allowing you to use the Siwah-covered outdoor living space, come rain or shine. The Siwah can be fitted with either drop screens or glass doors on the sides, enclosing the area completely, and providing protection against wind or driven rain. A wide range of colour finishes (including numerous wood finishes) allows one to play around with many design options to create just the right design in just about any setting. Versatility, functionality and beauty find a unique synergy in the Siwah.
The Dakel Vertical roller screen is an ideal solution as side closures for any outdoor space, especially where strong winds may be encountered. The stainless steel cable guides provide excellent resistance against the considerable forces of nature, and unlike the case with zip systems, it cannot be ripped out of place. With the employment of aeronautical technology, the structural integrity of this attractive drop-screen is enhanced, ensuring that it remains functional for many years. Despite its simplicity, Dakel Vertical remains attractive and neat. This product also provides for an ideal solution to areas where installation needs to be on the exterior rather than the interior. It is unobtrusive when fully retracted, and beautiful when fully extended. It can cover really large surface areas of up to 5.0 metres in height and up to 7.0 metres in width, (depending on the fabric used). It is also available in a wide range of colour finishes on both the structural components and screen-types, allowing for numerous design variations. Dakel Vertical is available in both manually-operated and fully automated, motorised versions.
