This online dog grooming course was created for those who have completed the Dog Groomer Assistant course, and those who have the foundational skills when it comes to dog grooming. During this course, we will recap dog coat types, and discuss correct equipment handling and maintenance. We dive deeper into how to clip a dog section for section, such as how to groom the head of various breeds, the legs, paws etc. We demonstrate carding and hand stripping, how to apply a winter cut, summer cut and kennel cut. You will also be educated on dog health, how to handle medical emergencies and the basics of dog training. Please find the course overview attached.

During this course, our students will be educated on how to groom the most popular breeds from each dog group example the Hound Group; Terrier Group; Toy Group etc. It is advised to complete the above-mentioned courses before completing this course as it is more advanced and you would require the skill taught in those courses to be able to complete this course.

This course was created to teach the absolute beginner everything there is to know about dog grooming and the dog world. Please find attached the course overview. This course is also ideal for dog enthusiasts as we discuss dog behaviourism, dog training, canine anatomy, dog health(illnesses and skin issues) and nutrition, coat types etc. As you can see this is not your average dog grooming course as we cover various dog-related topics.
