Horseback Beach Adventures - Products

This is about a 1hr early evening trail. This trail is designed to help friends, families and work-mates to become more of a team and to learn to trust and rely on each other. It will take the group through a couple of paddocks of our farm where one may encounter loose horses, through gates that the group will have to open and close, alongside a river and through a dark and mysterious bush path, where every member needs to communicate with those in front and behind them to know where they are going and what obstacles are ahead. The group will return back to the ranch via the same route. Groups of 2-8 persons. Cost R280pp

Watch the sun setting and the moon rising on the beach from horseback. Enjoy a magical adventure on our 12km horse trail bathed in the light of the moon. These specially romantic and magical rides take you along our regular beach trail, but leaving in the late afternoon when you are likely to see the magnificent changing colours of the sky as the sun is setting over the horizon, experience the magical sight of the moon rising over the sea, and to be able to ride through the bush with only the light of the moon showing you the way and learning to really trust your steed. Suitable for advanced or novice riders. Groups of 2-9 persons. These rides are available as: 1-The “Snacks and Swim Beach Ride” 3-4hrs long at a cost of R450pp 2- The “Non-stop Beach Ride” 2-3hrs long at a cost of R350pp 3- The "Sundowner Beach Ride" which includes a short stop to enjoy the moment and enjoy a glass of bubbly. 2.5hrs long at a cost of R390pp 4- The "Deluxe Picnic Beach Ride" 3-4hrs long at a cost of R600pp and includes a specially packed romantic Picnic for two.

This special ride has been designed with the romantic couple and special occasions in mind. This Ride will take you to, and along the Beach to our Rest Stop, where you will dismount and be given a Picnic Hamper and beach mat to go enjoy a meal with just you and your partner. After the Picnic we all ride back to the farm. The regular picnic hamper for two will normally consists of: Roast chicken, Fresh salad, fresh bread rolls, a helping of in season fruit or cake (depending on what is available or requested for), and a bottle of non alcoholic champagne. Or you can opt for the vegetarian picnic hamper for two which will consist of: non-alcoholic champagne, fruit salad, nuts, and possibly some cake. Suitable to all riding experiences. For bigger groups, this ride can be adapted for groups of up to 18 persons! *Tip* This ride has been used on more than 10 occasions for Gentlemen to propose to their girlfriends. All our rides include basic instruction of how to control and ride your horse before leaving on the trail.

This ride will take you to and along the beach to our Rest stop. After downing light refreshments of corn snacks (halaal & kosher), in-season fruit (if available), home-made lemonade and water that we supply, riders can choose to lead their horses down to the water’s edge for a roll in the shallows or take a short guided walk on a board walk through the local mangrove swamps. Afterwards climbing back on and enjoying the relaxed ride back to the farm. This ride is suitable to all riders and will take between 3 and 4hrs. Groups of 2-9 persons.
