The only DJ School in Free State, Based in Bloemfontein Mangaung. Over ten years ago, the DJ Mix Club (JHB) launched South Africa’s first DJ School and to date numerous DJs have been trained on the various courses on offer. In 2008 Bloem Beat DJ School received accreditation from this leading DJ School, since then Bloem Beat DJ School has trained and placed many DJ’s in the industry. The Bloem Beat DJ School has pioneered and developed a Beginner DJ course that has set the standards for all DJ training in South Africa. We offer DJ training on both Turntables and CD Players, which covers all the basics on 'How to be a DJ'. Upon completion of the course, graduates will be awarded a Bloem Beat Records/DJ Mix Club Certificate. They will also be eligible to become a member of Bloem Beat Records. As the course is very popular, we can only accept a limited number of students per course. Bookings are therefore essential. All equipment is provided! BASIC COURSE OUTLINE The course is broken up into two parts: Theory and Practical Theory This weekly informal lecture is where you will be exposed to relevant subjects of the dance industry which include: the history of dance music, the importance of EQ'ing, basic sound engineering and other important aspects of the technical side of DJ'ing. Practical This part of the course is where you will be given hands on training in the art of mixing. Expect personalised sessions, free studio time to practice (while you attend the course) and a graduation that will both challenge you and impress your friends. During the 8 week course you will have the opportunity to book 8 "one-on-one" two hour sessions (at your convenience) with our experienced training staff.
