This is a wall-mounted pergola with a fully automated retractable canvass roof, produced by SAHARA from Spain. The retractable canvass roof is made from a high-quality fabric, consisting of three layers to provide ultimate protection from the sun. The frame is constructed from the purest, high quality aluminium with profiles extruded by SAHARA itself, and contains space-age aeronautical technology which ensures the highest possible wind resistance available from Europe (Class 6 - UNE EN 13561 standard). CNC Technology is used to produce all brackets and integral parts, which means that these parts are not porous and brittle, but extremely solid, and therefore being of much denser quality. Certified Qualicoat II is used in the powder coating process, ensuring a much better bond, and diminishes the possibility of corrosion tremendously, which is why SAHARA provides a 10 year anti-corrosion Warranty. This makes the Dakhla particularly suitable for areas like Cape Town, or seaside destinations where wind and corrosion are a common problem. The Dakhla Pergola is available in standard RAL colours and numerous wood finishes are also available, allowing the client to choose something that looks like wood, but without the maintenance headaches. The Dakhla is able to cover areas of up to 13.0 metres wide with a projection of up to 9.0 metres, making it ideal for restaurants or pubs with large outdoor areas that need protection.
