Your household geyser The main geysers available for households include standard round, slimline and square. Most geysers are available in a horizontal or vertical orientation, while some can be fitted both ways depending on the available space. They generally range in pressure from 100kPa to 600kPa. The pressure of a geyser will dictate the number of litres per minute the geyser outputs. 600kPa geysers can be placed on the floor. The standard round geysers are available in sizes ranging from 50 litres to 250 litres and are larger in comparison to the slimline that range from 50 litres to 150 litres. Slimline geysers, as the name suggests, are better suited to narrow spaces and have all their fittings conveniently on one end. Similarly, square geysers fit into small spaces like cupboards and start from as little as 25 litres in capacity.
