You might think that your electric fence is working… but how do you really know… and are you willing to touch it to find out? Don’t wait until it’s too late! An electric fence is a live system, which once it has been installed cannot be left to maintain itself. Realising that your electric fence is your first line of defence against crime, we offer a monthly maintenance agreement on both new and existing installations whereby a professional mobile team is sent to your premises once a month to ensure that your security system is working effectively and remains energy efficient from as little as R250.00 p/m. Our PSIRA registered members will carry out a thorough inspection on ALL fencing components, take a voltage reading of the fence, perform a cut & short earth test, check for rust, arcing and general wear and tear, test the energiser and earth spikes, replace any defective insulators for FREE and cut and remove any debris and vegetation obstructing the electric fence. All this information is then recorded and reflected on your Maintenance Inspection Slip and a copy of which is left with you, the client after each site inspection. The Maintenance Inspection Slip will also notify you of any faulty parts, repairs or upgrades that may be required to keep your electric fence running at optimal capacity, should this be the case, our office will promptly send you a quote to carry out any of these repairs however you are under no obligation to accept our quote and are free to get another company to carry out the required repairs. We offer our Maintenance Plan without you having to sign a contract binding you to a minimum term therefore giving you the freedom to cancel our service at any time with 7 days notice. Our Maintenance Plan thus gives you the peace of mind that your electric fence is always in optimal working condition, energy efficient and compliant as per the new legislation SANS 10222-3 (effective 1st October 2012), without any hassle or inconvenience to you.
