Blommenberg is a modern Victorian-style building and offers a total of 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with television, mini bars, tea /coffee making facilities and heaters. Eight of the rooms overlook a lush garden-courtyard with swimming pool. The remaining four rooms are situated on the front veranda and offer a view of the Cedarberg. These rooms are self-catering and have been recently renovated. Two of the rooms are large family rooms. Outdoor barbecue facilities are available. We provide an extensive breakfast which always offers: pure fruit juices, a variety of local fresh fruits, home made muesli, jams and preserves, a selection of cold meats and cheeses and other specialities of the house. In addition, orders are taken for our full English breakfast selection. We enjoy cooking and dinner is available on request. The ambiance of the airy dining room is enhanced by a collection of excellent antique furniture and collectables. About Clanwilliam Clanwilliam is a quiet, unspoilt town dating back to the early seventeen hundreds. It is situated 230 km north of Cape Town on the N7, which is also the main route to Namibia. The dramatically beautiful Cederberg range is to the East and Lamberts Bay, famous for its seafood and bird island only 60 km to the West. Every April / May Clanwilliam hosts the Cederberg Festival ¿ an arts and cultural event - which attracts more and more visitors each year. During August / September the Wild Flower Show is held in the historic, old Flower Church to coincide with the spring flower season. Rooibostea (Red Tea) is endemic to the area and a visit to the Rooibos Factory or a tea plantation is a must. Clanwilliam is a nature lovers paradise offering scenic hikes. Bird watchers are afforded the opportunity of seeing many of the species endemic to the fynbos and Karoo vegetation.
