Dayv ran away from the real world to join the circus of tattooing in 2009 after about a decade of commercial illustration and graphic art became too much like real work. Since then, he has worked at Phoenix Tattoos and Oldschool Skin Art in Hartbeespoort, the Golden Tiki in Linden and now does occasional guest spots at SA Ink (formerly Iron Fist Ink) in Rosebank. While he is able to bust out anything from solid blackwork to newschool color to realism, he loves complex text-based work and celtic knots." Liam is a full time musician and visual artist. He is a bag piper in the band 'Haggis and Bong' and it was through the band that he met Dayv, the band's tattoo sponsor. Being and exhibiting artist he wished to explore art on a new medium and Dayv gladly taught Liam how to put his art on skin. Liam has been tattooing continuously since then and has now chosen skin as his preferred medium.
