I use a psychodynamic, cognitive and existential approach to therapy: looking at how we feel, at our thoughts, opinions, at one's intuition, and reflecting on the meaning we see in things. When dealing with psychological well-being, the patient's perspective is critical to engage with. Our felt sense of things arises in response to impressions and experiences in life. Our thoughts, conclusions, feelings, and decisions in life influence who we are. I see my role as an advocate to my patients in their well-being psychologically. Rates R750 per therapeutic hour (50 minute consultation, ten minutes for note writing). Payment is direct to practice, via EFT or cash. Initial sessions payable per session, afterwhich monthly invoicing. Medical aid registered. Medical aid claims are by patient.
