Life at Beth Uriel is much like any family. There's a lot of healthy discipline, school is a priority and the family relaxes together plenty. The guys do duties, celebrate birthdays, go on holiday outings and go to church together every week. As it is the desire of the home to be "the light of God" in a difficult world, Beth Uriel is run on Christian principles and lots of prayer! Beth Uriel (which means "House of Light" in Hebrew) was started in 1987. It grew out a vision of Angela La Grange and Hudson McComb - to show compassion and God's love to the troubled children of Cape Town. "Mama Angela" and Hudson welcomed up to 40 children at a time off the streets and out of troubled homes.
