Web Design & Internet Marketing in Cape Town, South Africa. Let me start off by saying thank you to everyone who had a great business year in the year 2015. It was my pleasure to help. This year I am starting off with promoting and designing web sites to help new business getting off the ground. Getting new business in is not easy especially with the RAND being so weak. Ultimately we would all like to generate good income and see high cash returns for our hard work and time invested. Sadly and unfortunately this is not always the case because most of us still believe and is convinced that ‘word of mouth’ is still the best way to bring in new clients. I have to agree that the good old fashion ‘word-of-mouth method’ works well BUT it takes a time to get new clients in and it’s a very slow process. The wife always says. ‘To make more money you need lots of phone calls coming in it takes at least 10 calls minimum to secure one job at least.’ I agree with that statement because it is exactly what I can do for you. Getting a new or fancy website doesn’t get you the calls. All that a website provides you with is an online property where you can advertise your brand, product and services that you are selling. In reality what you really need in order for people to know about your business or new website is to have a million people run around in your area and drops each one a pamphlet and hope that for every individual you’ve handed a flyer that maybe 1 out of every 10 will want your business. If this is the case and if it this works for you then you will probably have to pay this million people a good wage together with having to deal with new and bigger work space, time and employers in order to afford and be able to meet everyone’s demand and orders. For now, let’s say that this is not going to work and let’s rather try a more realistic approach. SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION or being found on Google, Yahoo or Bing’s first page for specific keywords for the service
