Burlington Dataprint – 2011: Founded as Burlington Printing Company Propriety Limited in 1911, Burlington Dataprint celebrates its centennial in 2011 as one of the longest-lived printers in Gauteng.
From humble beginnings and a tradition of delivering high-calibre craftsmanship and business integrity, it grew: first by serving the needs of mining community, banks and small companies of early Johannesburg, then through acquisitions and investments to expand its capabilities into the regional market, and eventually by transforming itself into an end-to-end print production company that works in tandem with clients throughout South Africa, Africa and International.
Due to its long history of quality work and a solid client base, Burlington entered a new era in its history when Kagiso Investments became our BEE shareholder in 2003. Subsequent to that, we partnered with The Shalamuka Foundation, a trust that acts solely as the funding vehicle for the highly regarded Penreach Whole School development program to improve the quality and accessibility of education in disadvantaged communities.
