In South Africa today, any business owner needs to stay on track with developments but also with the problems of the day. If there are one thing that guests DO NOT LIKE is to pay for accommodation or conferencing and in the middle of their business the load shedding schedule come in play.
Boschdal did a very expensive lay out to connect all our 30 rooms plus two conference centers plus our managerial buildings with Solar energy so that when load shedding sets in, the lights will stay on, plus the TV plus the Wifi. This means that a guests will be able to carry on as usual when staying with us.
Boschdal also put up a huge water reservoir to supply the guesthouse with uninterrupted water to the guesthouse and rooms.
We do not know how the normal small guesthouses do it, as in Rustenburg this is the biggest problems of the day.
